He was terrible in the friendly too after a great workd cup qualifier! He wasnt subbed whereas younger pkayers like Pogbs etc came off after 65-75 mins.
I''m surprised he played the friendly.. sure as hell Man Utd were asking for their stars not to play the full 90 in a pointless game!
Of his performances are dropping for other reasons, ie wanting out then he aint doing himself any favours. I think it's burnout personally. He was also knocked about all over the shot by these cants!!

You lose the ball then you track back to try and retrieve it, couple of times he lost it he just gave the impression fuck it I'll let someone else get it back.
